Answer and Explanation to Yesterday's Question
Two people at work are discussing roles and responsibilities as they relate to the company and the projects it has. They are discussing the role of the Project Manager and the functional manager. What is the main role of the functional manager?

(a) To control resources (Correct)
(b) To manage the project when the Project Manager isn't available
(c) To define business processes
(d) To manage the Project Managers

Explanation: The Functional Manager runs the day-to-day business and is responsible for resources. Project Managers do not always report to Functional Managers. The Functional Manager runs a department or area of business, not the Project Manager. Defining business processes is noise.
