To successfully pass the exam you have to clean up your mind from all those exam myths that will burden you unnecessarily. Just for example, one of my boss told me to really memorize the PMBOK especially the ITTO inside and out, backward and forward, right to left and left to right - upward and downward .
I was pretty depressed for a while knowing pretty well that this is way out of my ability. Luckily I am a believer that understanding is much more important than memorizing. By understanding you can more easily answer the same question than by memorizing and it take much less "space" in your brain too.
So, one of the first step into successfully getting your PMP is to get rid of all those myths that burden your mind and are heavy on your pocket, causing you to spend your hundreds/thousands of dollars & time unnecessarily
Below are those 3 myths that you need to dispel before the exam:
1.Memorize the ITTO and PMBOK too
2. Contact hours only from PMI REP
3. PMBOK is all you need to know
here is one solution to handle those pesky ITTO: How to handle ITTO
