PMBOK 5th edition: the future is here?

Number of View: 24306

The 5th edition is scheduled for publication at the beginning of 2013. It is not clear when this PMBOK will be effective for the CAPM, PMP and PgMP Exam. However it is safe to say that  by summer of 2013, those exams will all be based on the PMBOK 5th edition.

Andy Crowe: Thoughts on The 5th Edition PMBOK Guide Exposure Draft:

The 5th Edition PMBOK Guide has hit the streets, and for a few of us, this is actually an exciting event. I spent some time with it this weekend, and I have some initial thoughts about the direction it has taken and the implied changes. An in-depth analysis would take many, many pages, so I’ll try to hit the highlights here.
