Hi Peter,

Thanks! just to clarify further for the following comment.

"rated this 4 because some questions are ambiguous and/or have 4 correct answers..."

I am referring to PMStudy test 2,3 & 4. Some test takers also have similar comment on the PMStudy simulation tests. I found that the following link to the PMP product ratings is quite helpful.

http://www.pmhub.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=79&t=13991

Sharon, congratulations on passing. Welcome to the ranks.

I, too, thought Rita's book was poorly organized without very much explanatory behind the rationale for an answer (the whole reason I'm studying the book is to understand, not be brow-beaten for not understanding the logic). I've spoken with others who've expressed similar concerns. While I'll highly regard FastTrack as a simulator, with all due respect to Ms. Mulcahy, she spends much more time showing the reader how much she knows rather than successfully imparting that knowledge (again, isn't that the purpose behind learning?).

I'd definitely agree with your other assessments, but I've also found Kim Heldman's work very useful, and lacking much of Rita's sarcasm.

Regards,
Andy

Sharon,
Congrats for clearing PMP !!!!. In your LL you have written " rated this 4 because some questions are ambiguous and/or have 4 correct answers. You may like to try 2 & 3 first" Are you referring to Oliver Lehmann (75 + 175)

Peter / Priya
First and foremost my apologies for the dealyed revert, since i was tied up with work constraints.
Peter please find my answers to your queries..
1.I took up the PMStudy mock exams basically to have a on hand experience of the real time questions. PMStudy helps you out in the preparation for actual exams, however be prepared for a few surprises during actual exam.
2.Yes you are correct.
3.No rescheduling is not a big process, however you need to cancel the appointment 48 hrs before the actual date.
4. I received 2 proficiency and rest moderately proficient.

Priya..
I do not have the Rita Mulchay book, i reffered PMBOK and Headfirst.

Feel free to revert for any further clarifications..

Till then All the best in your preparations...

Hi Anjum,

I do recommend that you start by service support first (Operational Stage) which is more tangible for you. then, try service delivery (Tactical and strategic) stage.

but, keep in mind this is ITIL V2 base which is not have less information than V3. you will find the changes only at the structure and some additional rules.

Please let me know if there's any issue.

Thanks in advance!

Comments from PMHUB: this is a good Lessons Learnt from Steve's Lessons Learned:

First: Never ever write: "write to me if you ..." when you do not even mention what your e-mail address is

Second: why not wite that in your LL openly rather than asking reader to privately write to you - the objective of an LL is to share. If due to legal reason, you do not dare to mention the name, then do not ask reader to write to you
