I am happy to announce that I passed my PMP exam on 17/06/2010, that is to say this Thursday. I can not describe that feeling when I saw the “Congratulations” message on my screen. My studying process and technique was rather simple but the PMP exam itself was more challenging. I completed my PMP on 18 Jan 10. At this moment I would like to thank PMHUB since I was a regular reader of the PMHUB forums and specially the LL’s section on your website which helped me in my preparation especially few days before my exam. I am glad to share with you all that I cleared the PMP certification exam in my first attempt on the 28th-May-2010. It’s a great sense of satisfaction and achievement, to add the three words “PMP” behind my name . I would like to share my experiences for the PMP exam preparation. As of 13 May, 2010 I am PMP v4 Certified. I have to say the experience was very satisfying and relieving. I would like to share my experience with all. About 2 years ago, I wanted to do my PMP certification, I took PMI membership, downloaded the 3rd edition PMBOK and that was all I did, never really sat down and studied for the exam seriously and my PMI membership expired. I reapplied earlier this year and wanted to take & pass the test in [...] Hello Everyone! I wanted to take a few moments to share my experience with everyone since I found the Blog boards on this site to be extremely helpful to me in trying to acquire the PMP Certification. In a nutshell this is what I did to succeed: Made a study plan for what to read, when to read, and when I’d be taking my exam. I began this whole process in mid-May and just took the exam today, October 8th so as you can see this was a several month long journey. I am extremely happy to say that I passed the exam on my 1st try. I am happy to report that I took the PMP exam on September 18th, 2009 and passed on my first try! I found the lessons learned on PMHUB Blog to be extremely useful during my test preparation, so I wanted to do my part and share my experience. Well, I passed the CAPM today. I spent five weeks diligently preparing for it, studying about 2-3 hours a night. After hearing horror stories about how difficult the exam really is, I actually think I might’ve “overstudied” as I found the actual exam to be refreshingly easy. I took the PMP certification exam recently and am happy to report that I passed. In my preparations for the test, I read a few Tips and Tricks from others. They helped me out quite a bit so I thought I would share some of these along with my own lessons in order to do a little “Pay It Forward”. Hi Everyone, I have always learnt something from reading the Lessons learned section from other’s experiences so here is my personal experience (sorry for the long post). I registered to take the PMP exam in october 2008. I really did not start studying very seriously untill June 2009. I had read through the PMBOK (3rd edition) during my masters in project management degree programm, and still had to read it a second time in May this year. I became very anxious when [...] (NOTE: To access free e-learning session about how to properly do this lesson learned method, click http://linkbee.com/PMABCv1) It has been almost two months now since the PMP® Exam adopted the 4th edition of PMBOK. So far our pass rate gets back to normal. The alarm is off. I followed PM’ABC’s standard learning procedure to save me time, I gain my PMP certification within 48 days after I start preparing PMP Exam. Because I can’t really have too much time to do the so-called “MAGIC 3” method – read though Rita’s book for three times, I was, and have been, very desperate to [...] Do not underestimate getting the MRA survey completed for the final stage of the PgMP process. Unless all your raters are under the same roof, I found it difficult to verify who had completed the 74 question survey and who had not. This is a blog by EZRider. Also published in CAPM Forum. Hi All, I cleared the PMP certification exam on 04th Dec 2006. The major reason for delay in writing this LL being the transition to the new Group/Project I have made in the last few months. This is an inspiring LL from Radha, getting her PMP the second time around I’ve passed my PMP exam in my first attempt on May 23rd, 2007. I cleared my CAPM exam on 11th June.
